Cedar Lane PTA Events
We host events all year long that bring our school community together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories. These events rely on the energy and support of volunteers like you. Whether you're helping behind the scenes or simply showing up to join the fun, we’d love to see you at our next event!
Movie Night
Join us to watch Dog Man on Friday, September 19th! We plan to begin the movie at 7:45. You may arrive as early as 7:15. The movie will be shown outside on the playground blacktop, so remember to bring your own chairs, blankets, etc. Also bring some cash to purchase snacks, or bring your own.
The cost is $5 per family (not per movie goer).
Monster Mash
Join us on Thursday, October 30th, 5:30-7:30 for the annual Monster Mash! Come in costume if you wish. We’ll have trunk-or-treat, crafts, DJ, photobooth, and more! Candy and prizes while supplies last.

Tile Painting Night
Join us on Friday, November 14th, 5:30-7:30 for Tile Painting Night! Your lion will get to paint a square ceiling tile that will be displayed in the school. Designs will be approved beforehand.

International Night
Join us on Thursday, January 29th for International Night! We’ll have food, activity stations, and performances from various countries and cultures around the world. The event cannot happen without our Cedar Lane families and community members stepping up to share their traditions.

Musical
Join us this winter to see Cedar Lane students perform in a musical! Students in 3rd grade through 5th grade will be eligible to participate.

Family Reading Night
Join us on Thursday, March 26th for Family Reading Night! We will invite local authors and staff members to read storybooks and host reading-themed activities.
Family Reading Night kicks off our big spring fundraiser, the Read-A-Thon!

Talent Show
Join us this spring to see Cedar Lane students perform in the annual talent show! Students in 3rd grade through 5th grade will be eligible to participate in the performance portion. Any student can participate in the still portion.

Carnival
Join us on Saturday, May 16th for our annual carnival! We’ll have games, crafts, music, inflatables, food, and more! This event cannot happen without the help from people like you. We’d love to see you there!

The PTA always throws a big party for graduating 5th graders on the last day of school! Families with 5th graders will be contacted about this event.
