Cedar Lane PTA Fundraisers

We cannot sponsor so many enriching programs and fun events for our lions without having a few successful fundraisers through the year. Your ongoing support makes a big difference. Thank you!

Spirit Nights

The Cedar Lane PTA proudly partners with local businesses throughout the year to host Spirit Nights—fun, family-friendly fundraising events that directly benefit our school community. When Cedar Lane families dine or shop at a participating business on the designated Spirit Night, a portion of the proceeds is generously donated back to our school. It’s a simple and enjoyable way to support Cedar Lane while also supporting local businesses.

Boosterthon

Our Boosterthon is designed to be fun, impactful, and hassle‑free. Rather than selling products, the program centers on an exciting character‑education experience! Students enjoy themed pep rallies and daily “character huddles.” The fundraiser wraps up with a high-energy Fun Run while families cheer them on! This year’s Fun Run will be on Wednesday, September 17th.

Registration for Boosterthon opens on August 26th. Standby for more info!

Roar Store

The Roar Store, our school store, will be open in the gym on two Friday mornings each month before school begins! The first school store will be on October 3rd. We sell small items like pencils, erasers, stickers, putty, and fidget toys. Items are priced between 25 cents and $2.

We are always looking for volunteers to help! Standby for the signup sheet!

Original Works

Original Works is a unique, art-based fundraising initiative that transforms each child’s original artwork into high-quality keepsakes—like mugs, magnets, mousepads, sketchbooks, tiles, and more. It’s a creative and memorable way for schools to raise funds while celebrating every young artist.

Virtual Auction

We will host a Virtual Auction on February 27th through March 1st! Families can bid on various items including special experiences with teachers and staff members. Standby for more info on dates and how you can participate!

Interested in Donating?

We’re actively seeking donations from families and local businesses to help make this auction a success. Whether it’s a product, service, gift card, or unique experience, your contribution directly supports our school programs, enrichment opportunities, and community-building events.

If you're a local business owner, this is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Showcase your products or services to a wide audience

  • Build goodwill within the Cedar Lane community

  • Gain new customers through exposure in our auction promotion materials (website, social media, newsletters, and more)

All donors will be recognized in our auction catalog and promotional outreach leading up to and during the event.

Read-A-Thon

We’re excited to launch our annual Read‑A‑Thon, which will be held March 12th through March 26th. This is a beloved Cedar Lane tradition that promotes a love of reading while raising important funds for our school. It’s a win-win: students grow as readers, and our school benefits from the generous support of our community! Standby for more info on how you can participate!

How It Works:

From March 12 to 26, students will log their reading minutes each day—whether they’re reading on their own, with a family member, or listening to audiobooks. Throughout the event, friends, family, and community members can pledge their support by sponsoring students based on minutes read or through flat donations.

Why Participate?

  • Encourages a lifelong love of reading 📖

  • Raises critical funds for PTA-sponsored programs and enrichment activities 💡

  • Engages family and community members in a meaningful way 🤝

  • Students earn fun prizes as they hit reading milestones! 🎉

Whether your child is a bookworm or just beginning their reading journey, the Read‑A‑Thon is a fantastic way to celebrate literacy and school spirit.

Stay tuned for more details on how to register, track minutes, and share your fundraising page with friends and family!
